Where every child is a success story:
Safe, Happy and Learning
Our Headteacher
I am extremely proud to be the headteacher of Arnett Hills JMI School. I joined the school in September 2021 knowing of its good reputation in the local area and the excellent work that has been going on here for many years. I have joined a team of dedicated staff who are all fully committed to ensuring every child here receives a quality education and a school experience second to none. Our curriculum is vitally important to us and we are constantly reflecting upon how to provide our children with the best learning experiences that we can.
My passions are ensuring the children are receiving a curriculum full of arts rich experiences, they are active and they are learning outdoors. We are working on driving these areas and I very much look forward to working on this with the staff and children here. I’m hoping that the outdoor space will be transformed over the next few years to provide rich, learning opportunities for our children.
I believe in staff and children having fun and laughing every day. Each child only gets one chance at primary education and our aim is to ensure they get the very best here. I will be supporting our committed staff; ensuring they receive quality development opportunities and making sure we can put the best staff in front of our children every day.

A Creative Curriculum
Since September 2014 we have been using the new National Curriculum to plan the work we do with our children, in every subject. Our focus is on making our curriculum as broad and balanced as we can with a strong commitment to making creative links between subjects.
