PARENT CONSULTATIONS Thursday October 12th 5pm to 8pm and Friday October 13th 8am to 11am
In order to sign up you (or your friend/ relative etc) should come to school on Thursday September 28th – signing up sheets will be in the main hall from 7.30am and again at the end of the school day.
If you are unable to get signed up on that day, please ring the school office FROM Friday morning onwards, the lists will be held there and you will be able to find out which appointments are still available. Please be aware that certain times are very popular.
Appointments are for ten minutes. Please be mindful of this when your time is up as there will be parents waiting their turn after you. If you have more than one child at the school please do not make your appointments back to back. Instead leave a gap of one ten-minute slot between them.
Many of you will already have had informal or formal discussions with the class teachers. For those parents with a child on the Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) register, there will also be a signing up sheet for Mrs O’Neill our SENDCo and Deputy Head.
Split households where parents feel unable to attend together are required to reach an agreement as to who attends consultations – perhaps one parent in autumn and the other in spring term. We are unable to make two appointments for the same child.
You should enter the school on the field side. Come in via the pedestrian gate, walk to the end of the junior playground and enter via the doors at the back that give on to the junior dining room (opposite the little room on the field). Please do not use the front door as it will not be manned because the staff will be in the main hall with parents. You are welcome to bring your children to school with you when you come for your consultation, they will stay with me in the dining room while you see the teacher.
Please note that there is no school for the children on Friday October 13th as the consultation morning will be followed by INSET for the staff.
