Dear Year 5 parents,
We have been thoroughly enjoying learning about South America in our topic over the last few weeks. I would like to thank the children who designed and created a costume/mask/headdress which they made for their half termly project. If you have not yet created one, you are welcome to make one in the coming weeks.
On 4th of December 2020, Year 5 are going to take part in a South America Day! The class can come into school in non-uniform, dressed in vibrant, bright colours as though they are attending Rio De Janeiro Carnival!
We will be busy spending the day taking part in lots of enrichment activities!
To make our day extra special, we will be creating our own tropical fruit skewers which the children can make and eat. We will ensure that the appropriate safety measures are in line with COVID-19 guidelines.
