Whilst organising a visitor connected to the Year 5 Space topic, we have been given the chance to extend the experience to Year 6 as a ‘revision’ for them.
‘Virtual Reality Space Workshop is a company that will come in on the last afternoon of term, Friday 20th October. They provide virtual reality headsets through which the children will experience a tour through space and explore the solar system. A ‘facilitator’ will be present to explain everything. I am assured that it will be an engaging session and it does sound exactly what the children would
like.
The school will subsidise half of the cost but there is a cost of a voluntary contribution of £2.50 per
child.
